We had a fantastic week at Coombs View, it is an excellent place to stay especially if you have dogs. The free pet sitting service is available should you need it and the agility course is great fun for the dogs. The location is very peaceful and there is very little traffic. Plenty of walks and you are located centrally for the lakes, Eden Valley and Northumberland. We hope to return next year. Miss I, Halstead, Essex 31 May 2010
Lovely cottage in an ideal location for great walks, hosts very helpful, we would recommend this holiday, they especially made our dog Bailey welcome would visit again. Mr C, WIDNES, Cheshire 08 April 2010
A lovely cottage with plenty of beautiful walks in the surrounding area ,and if you fancy a change and a bit of shopping, Carlisle is only 9 miles away - during our stay a continental market was on there which was great. Our hosts very helpful and friendly, and we had our cocker spaniel with us (Bailey), who really enjoyed himself in the enclosed garden, then being allowed in the local pubs (The Dukes Head) in front of a coal fire was just great. We will be visiting here again in the future and would recommend this cottage to anyone! Mr C, WIDNES, Cheshire 07 April 2010
A lovely cottage, a home from home that had everything we needed. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden and the staff are very friendly. All in all a very enjoyable holiday and we would go back again - highly recommended! Miss L, Bootle, Merseyside 13 October 2009
Great place to stay, lovely cottage and very well equipped, felt like home. The Beagles loved the enclosed garden to run and play and was good to know they were safe. Very friendly and helpful people, knew the area really well. Would definitely recommend. Mrs J, DARLINGTON, County Durham 16 September 2009
We would highly recommend this holiday as it was very pet friendly, enclosed garden keeping our dog safe, the facilities of hydrotherapy pool and agility course were brilliant, Casper our golden retriever loved every minute. Mrs S, Wakefield 20 August 2009
A lovely cottage with a brilliantly fully fenced off garden. We could let our two Beagles go wandering round the garden without having to worry that they might have escaped. Nice walks in the surrounding area and not too far from the usual Lake District walks. Two friendly local pubs are not too far away and the cottage is located 10 miles between Carlisle and Penrith. I would definitely stop again. Miss B, WIGAN 11 June 2009
